FreeTDS is a library which gives access to SyBase and Microsoft SQL Server database servers.
This page contains a port of the core library and the ODBC driver. This driver has only been tested again Microsoft SQLServer 2000.
Installation and configuration of this driver is in two parts. The main driver is installed as normal and configured accordingly. However, it is also necessary to include a FreeTDS directory in your Choices directory. This holds configuration information for the core FreeTDS library.
The driver can be installed using the ODBCMan application provided elsewhere on this site. Source code with instructions on how to build the driver is also available.
